Christine Heckart is an experienced technology CEO, independent board member, and a thirty-year veteran of the tech industry with a proven track record in creating new markets, innovating new products, driving digital transformation, and growing revenue streams from nothing to billions of dollars. Christine appreciates board service where her digital transformation, SaaS, and market strategy experience will add value as an independent director.

Christine is currently the founder and CEO of Xapa World, a venture backed start-up focused bringing joy to life, and making it fun and interesting to learn the critical softskills that help us navigate an increasingly chaotic and stressful world. She was most recently the CEO of Scalyr, Inc., a venture-backed data analytics company. During her tenure the company grew its core ARR by over 100% sequentially, created a new market category, overcame a few significant business challenges, and had a successful exit. Scalyr was purchased by SentinelOne in February 2021 and the combined companies went public in June 2021.

Christine’s board experience includes public and private boards. From 2011-2018, she served on the Board of Directors of Lam Research, a Fortune 250 semiconductor equipment company, where she sat on the Comp, Audit and Strategy committees. During her tenure, the board oversaw two chairman transitions, two CEO transitions, a successful merger, a failed acquisition attempt, and an exploration of diversification strategies. From 2015-2019, Christine served on the board of 6sense, Inc., a data analytics company where the board oversaw a CEO transition, repositioned the company into a new category, created a new GTM motion, and successfully sold the company. In 2020 she joined the board of Contentful, a digital platform for content delivery, as its first independent director as the company prepares for an IPO in 2021/22. In 2021 she joined the board of SiTime, a semiconductor company that provides MEMS timing.

Christine is known and respected for her experience in creating products and new market categories, driving digital transformation, and developing new sources of revenue. Prior to becoming CEO of Scalyr, Christine held executive roles at Cisco, Microsoft, NetApp, Juniper Networks, and other top technology brands.

  • As SVP for Cisco’s entire product portfolio, Christine was responsible for the global go-to-market strategy for each of the business units.
  • While a general manager at Microsoft for the TV, video and music business, Christine’s organization doubled the user base of the $2B Windows Media Center business, created a new category for IPTV and drove revenues from $0 to $300m in the first two years resulting in a billion dollars of revenue in the first six years, created the world’s first paid SaaS music offering, and drove a 30% increase in SaaS revenues.
  • While chief operating officer at ServiceSource, the company undertook a repositioning from professional services to SaaS for data analytics and increased revenues by 32% in two years.
  •  As CMO for NetApp, Christine’s team created a new category of storage solution which now accounts for over $1B in annual sales, and oversaw all aspects of global marketing, communications, and partner ecosystem.
  • While at Brocade, company valuation increased 230% as part of a major digital transformation to software and SaaS, she created a new market category for software-defined networking, and drove triple digit growth in IP software sales.
  • During her tenure as president of TeleChoice, the company doubled revenues for seven consecutive years.
