Bhawna has also advised CEOs, shaped product market strategy for early stage startups, and steered over 10 multi-million to billion dollar acquisitions.
As CTO at Okta (NASDAQ: OKTA), Bhawna leads tech strategy and vision for its Customer Identity product. Okta is a category leader in Identity and Access management, with $2B+ in revenue. Bhawna is responsible for Okta’s Customer Identity product P&L which drives 40% of Okta’s revenue, delivering highly resilient service through its private and public multi-cloud environments serving billions of transactions per month. Bhawna frequently connects with senior executives of Okta’s global customer base to build deep trust by delivering highly scalable, stable and secure products while staying ahead of the competition. Bhawna is also responsible for scanning the threat landscape and managing security posture for Customer Identity.
Before Okta, Bhawna was the SVP & CTO at Glassdoor, a worldwide leader on insights about jobs and companies built on the foundation of increasing workplace transparency, where she was responsible for technological innovation for a $400M+ online consumer business. Bhawna led global expansion, taking
Glassdoor products into Latin America, Europe, and APAC. Prior to Glassdoor, Bhawna held positions at Ask.com (an IAC company), Sybase (now SAP), and AT&T along with several consulting roles.
Bhawna is the recipient of the Executive of the Year 2023 award by the prestigious Executive Women’s Forum (EWF) and Top 100 women in tech leaders to watch in 2022.
