Qualifications and Vetting

NxtWork members are accomplished leaders with the experience, character, and credibility expected at the highest levels of business.

The following criteria serve as general guidelines for consideration:

  • Candidates are established executives or senior leaders with a strong record of performance and innovation.
  • They have at least 15 years of management or senior leadership experience.
  • They typically have at least 15 years of leadership or management experience.
  • They use their positions to encourage a corporate culture of diversity and inclusion.
  • Most hold advanced degrees or have demonstrated equivalent expertise through their professional achievements.
  • They actively contribute to healthy, inclusive, and future-focused workplace cultures.
  • Each candidate must submit at least two letters of recommendation:
    • One from a direct report and one from a mentor or supervisor OR
    • Two letters from any combination of direct report, peer, or supervisor.
  • Their compensation aligns with the scale and impact of their responsibilities. Most NxtWork members have an annual base salary of $250,000 or more.
  • They are committed to participating in NxtWork activities and supporting the success of fellow members.
  • They must be referred by at least two active members of NxtWork.
  • Candidates are required to attend at least one NxtWork event per calendar year and meet with a NxtWork founder.

The next time a C-suite or board role is in play, NxtWork can serve as a trusted resource for decision makers who can call upon these diverse women leaders to be the next hires and trusted appointees who will help foster a legacy of positive change.
